Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN® partner is the contact for large-scale telecommunications services. The customer is always the focus, as is the service offered. It is of utmost importance to our partner to optimally meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities:
Implementation, monitoring and optimisation of network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs and DDoS protection
Development and implementation of security architectures as well as proactive analysis and resolution of security incidents
Operation and optimisation of IP networks and access platforms such as FTTH and HFC
Consulting internal teams on IT security topics as well as supporting the helpdesk in 2nd-level support
Creation of security documentation and conducting training sessions
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree, studies in IT security or comparable IT training
Several years of experience as a network engineer, ideally in the provider environment with a focus on IT security
Sound knowledge of MPLS, BGP and OSPF as well as other network technologies
Strong analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as excellent communication skills
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
