Accounting Clerk 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client requires an accounting clerk as a temporary employee from now until further notice. In this versatile position, you can expect the following tasks:

• Responsibility for the general ledger: posting ongoing business transactions and reconciling all accounts

• Active participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Independent execution of accruals and the creation of provisions

• Preparation of meaningful reports and analyses as well as support in analysing relevant financial key figures

• Ensuring compliance requirements, documenting all accounting processes, and preparing VAT returns

• Involvement in process optimisations, digitalisation initiatives, and other future-oriented projects

What do I need to be successful?

• Successfully completed commercial training (commercial clerk with a federal certificate of competence) or solid training in finance and accounting

• Several years of practical professional experience in accounting

• Proficient use of SAP S/4HANA as well as common MS Office applications

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are essential; knowledge of English and French is a plus

• Precise, structured, and efficient approach to daily work

• Resilient and flexible personality with pronounced independence and teamwork skills
