Security begins with the right interplay of technology, risk and processes: We are looking for a cybersecurity professional who combines technical security solutions with structured risk management. The position offers the opportunity to further develop a modern security organisation and at the same time play a central role in demanding audits, security incidents and transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and further development of cybersecurity frameworks, policies and technical standards
Identification and assessment of cyber risks within a complex IT landscape
Conducting threat modelling, security assessments and vulnerability analyses
Development of risk-based measures to improve the security architecture
Monitoring of technical security controls and continuous optimisation of their effectiveness
Support of security incidents from initial analysis to sustainable root cause remediation
Establishment and further development of structured incident response and detection processes
Collaboration with SOC, IT operations and infrastructure teams in defending against cyberattacks
Planning and management of external penetration tests as well as technical security assessments
Coordination of vulnerability management, patch processes and security remediation
Further development of endpoint, network and cloud security
Technical preparation and support of certifications and security audits
Participation in requirements from ISO 27001, TISAX, IATF 16949 and other relevant standards
Development and implementation of target group-oriented security awareness programmes
Planning of phishing simulations and practical security training
Evaluation of new security technologies and integration of suitable solutions into the existing IT landscape
Qualifications:
Higher education or degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity or a related technical field
Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT security or security engineering
Experience in the technical implementation and evaluation of security controls
Knowledge of security operations, incident response and vulnerability management
Understanding of SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and modern endpoint security
Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud security and hybrid IT architectures
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or TISAX
Experience in preparing or supporting audits and certifications is an advantage
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor or comparable qualifications are a plus
Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of technical risks
Ability to present complex security topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
High level of personal responsibility and enthusiasm for actively developing security topics
