About the job
Baar is an attractive municipality in Zug with around 25,000 inhabitants. The Real Estate / Sports department, among other tasks, assumes the owner role for around 65 municipal properties and additional plots of land.
The municipality of Baar has a diverse real estate portfolio in financial and administrative assets. This includes buildings and facilities in the areas of schools, sports, administration, public spaces, as well as residential and commercial buildings. Numerous development, renovation, and new construction projects will shape the municipality in the coming years. To ensure these projects can be planned and implemented on a solid foundation, we are creating an additional specialist role within the Portfolio and Facility Management division.
For this demanding interface role, we are seeking a committed individual as Project Developer / Owner Representation starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

What you can achieve
- Assuming the owner and client representation for municipal real estate and building projects from strategic project development to implementation
- Collecting, analysing, and coordinating the requirements and interests of ownership, users, operators, specialist departments, and political authorities
- Identifying and resolving conflicts of objectives and dependencies, and achieving agreed solutions
- Consolidating the agreed requirements and translating them into clear, complete, and reliable bases for commissioning real estate and building projects
- Ensuring readiness for commissioning as well as structured preparation and coordination of the interface with the Building Department
- Representing ownership in the project team during the planning and realisation phases and ensuring owner interests throughout the project
What you bring
- Completed education in architecture (FH/ETH) or comparable construction-related training
- Experience in project development, client representation, and strategic planning
- Ability to capture, structure, and translate the needs of diverse stakeholders into practical solutions
- Understanding of operational, functional, and structural interrelations
- Independent, conceptual, and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and complex issues
