For our client, an established Swiss industrial company with its own production, we are looking for a technically skilled and committed individual for maintenance and operational upkeep.
In this varied role, you will work together with a small, well-coordinated team to ensure that modern production facilities, machines and technical infrastructure operate reliably and efficiently. You will take responsibility, contribute your own ideas and make an important contribution to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Analysing, locating and rectifying technical faults
- Assisting with preventive maintenance to ensure high equipment availability
- Implementing optimisations and technical improvements on machines, systems and components
- Manufacturing and processing spare parts as well as mechanical assemblies
- Optimising wear parts and existing technical solutions
- Operating and monitoring technical control and process control systems
- Carrying out maintenance work on buildings and company infrastructure
- Supporting and providing professional guidance to apprentices in the technical field
- Experience in maintenance, operational upkeep or in an industrial environment is an advantage
- Good practical knowledge in mechanical processing, especially turning, milling and drilling
- Experience in the CNC area is desirable
- Independent, reliable and structured way of working
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of systematic fault finding
- Networked thinking and interest in continuously improving technical processes
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written; technical English is an advantage
- Confident handling of common IT applications
- Willingness for a limited, fairly regulated shift work as well as occasional on-call duty
- Ideally, you have training or further education as a trainer
On-call duty is organised on a rota and in consultation within the team. Thanks to consistent preventive maintenance, unplanned deployments are usually manageable.

Profile
- Completed technical basic training, for example as a polymechanic, production mechanic or in a comparable profession- Experience in maintenance, operational upkeep or in an industrial environment is an advantage
- Good practical knowledge in mechanical processing, especially turning, milling and drilling
- Experience in the CNC area is desirable
