Role:
In this role, you will take responsibility for the professional assembly, maintenance, and inspection of crane and lifting systems – from manual handling systems to chain hoists and cranes. You are responsible for commissioning the systems and instruct customers on-site in optimal use. As the central contact person in the field service, you maintain close communication with a diverse, often international clientele and keep technical as well as safety-relevant aspects in view. Additionally, you contribute your experience to technical consulting and identify suitable spare and wear parts. Through your feedback, you make an important contribution to the continuous improvement of service processes and products.
Responsibilities:
- You carry out assembly, maintenance, and expert inspections on handling systems, chain hoists, and cranes
- In this role, you commission handling systems and instruct customers on-site as needed
- As a service technician for crane and lifting technology, you support our mostly international customers throughout Switzerland as a competent contact person
- You assist with technical consulting and contribute your expertise to customer projects
- In this role, you sell spare and wear parts and ensure high availability of the systems
- You actively participate in service and product improvements, thus contributing to the further development of our offerings
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, e.g. as an electrician, mechatronics technician, metalworker/locksmith with further training in electrical engineering or plant and apparatus construction
- Ideally, you have experience in on-site service
- You work independently, responsibly, and at the same time team-oriented
- A confident and assured manner in dealing with customers characterises you
- You are willing to travel within Switzerland and hold a category B driving licence
- Your place of residence is ideally in the greater Zurich, Bern, or Lucerne area; knowledge of French is an advantage
