Cyber Security Governance Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
Responsibility for information security, IT risk management, and security governance with a focus on ISMS, compliance, audits, and business continuity. Advising IT, specialist departments, and management as well as continuously developing the security organisation.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of the ISMS
Conducting and managing information security and risk analyses
Coordination and handling of security incidents
Planning and support of internal and external audits
Creation and maintenance of security policies, standards, and processes
Further development of BCM and emergency concepts
Evaluation of cloud and IT architectures within the framework of security-by-design
Advising IT, specialist departments, and management
Coordination of data protection requirements in the IT environment
Implementation of security awareness and training measures
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, IT security or comparable qualification
Experience in information security, IT governance or IT risk management
Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST or comparable frameworks
Practical experience in risk analyses, audits and incident management
Understanding of modern IT and cloud infrastructures
Analytical, structured and independent working style
Strong communication skills at specialist and management level
German at native level, English at least C1
Experience with data protection is an advantage
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are an advantage
