Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Senior Project Manager Heating / Cooling for the independent management of demanding building technology projects. You will be responsible for medium to large heating and cooling systems from calculation and planning through procurement to execution and commissioning. A special focus is on technically demanding renovation and modernisation projects as well as the economical and energy-efficient implementation of the systems. Additionally, you will promote the use of BIM and digital planning and project processes within the projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and realisation of medium to large heating and cooling projects
Overall responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, resources and technical execution of the assigned projects
Planning and dimensioning of heating, cooling and heat distribution systems considering energy-efficient system solutions
Technical handling of renovations, conversions and modernisations of existing building technology systems
Preparation of calculations, quotations, change orders and technical offers as well as ongoing cost control
Coordination of execution planning and installation with clients, specialist planners, suppliers and other trades
Technical assessment and procurement of heat generators, cooling machines, heat pumps, fittings and system components
Responsibility for material disposition, procurement processes and supplier coordination
Leadership and coordination of installation teams, internal specialist departments and external project partners
Implementation and further development of BIM-based planning and coordination processes in building technology
Conducting project, construction and coordination meetings as well as ensuring complete project documentation
Support during commissioning, acceptance and handover as well as ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards and technical requirements
Qualifications:
Completed training as building services planner heating EFZ, ideally supplemented by further education at HF/FH level
Several years of professional experience in project management heating/cooling, especially in medium to large building technology projects
Sound knowledge of heating, cooling, hydraulics and heat generation systems
Experience with renovation and modernisation projects in building technology is an advantage
Experience in calculation, quotation, procurement and project controlling
Knowledge of BIM/CAD-supported planning processes and digital project methods
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building technology standards
