Do you want to actively shape IT security, master technical challenges, and implement your ideas in a professional environment? In this position, you take on a central role in protecting and further developing a modern IT infrastructure. You can expect varied tasks, personal responsibility, and the opportunity to apply and expand your expertise.
Responsibilities:
You plan, implement, and optimise modern security solutions based on Fortinet, GCP, and Sophos, ensuring reliable protection of the IT infrastructure.
You ensure the secure operation of identity and access management systems (IAM) and optimise the management of identities, permissions, and authentication processes.
You monitor the security situation, identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate measures in vulnerability and patch management.
You investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and develop effective countermeasures. If necessary, you provide support in the IT on-call service.
You contribute to the further development of the security strategy, support internal teams with technical questions, and strengthen security awareness in the company through targeted security awareness measures.
Qualifications:
You have completed a computer science education at EFZ, HF, or FH level and have at least three years of experience in IT security or security engineering.
You have good practical knowledge of Fortinet technologies. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as well as knowledge of SCIM and SAML are additional advantages.
You are familiar with ISO 27001 and NIST and can translate security requirements into concrete technical measures.
You approach challenges analytically, structurally, and solution-oriented, enjoy working independently, and take responsibility for your results.
You communicate confidently in German and have good to very good English skills (B2-C1) for collaboration with international contacts.
