What you will do
- À-la-carte service in the staffed guest restaurant
- Managing your own service station including cash handling, beverage service and food running
- Assisting with events and functions
- Ensuring an attractive ambience and high service standards in the guest area
- Supporting the daily operations of the business
What you bring
- Completed training in gastronomy or experience in a similar position is an advantage
- German level B1-B2: independent language use, spoken English skills

Your place of work
We are looking for you to provide additional support for Catering & Events!
At the Novartis Campus in Basel, our host team with 160 employees delights around 2400 guests daily with varied menus, vegetarian dishes, salads and snacks as well as a sophisticated catering offer for conferences and receptions.
Through the in-house catering offer, it is possible to order snacks and drinks for meetings or aperitifs. Regular company events and special occasions with up to 1,500 people are held.
You work Monday to Friday between 11:00 and 16:00, depending on the duty roster. You are flexibly available for occasional evening shifts.
