Cloud & IoT Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is a family-run company headquartered in Switzerland and market leader for automated personal and goods protection on busy railways in Europe. Railway automation and highly available radio systems complement the product range and market segments.
The company employs about 210 people and operates in several countries with locations in Switzerland, Germany, England, Italy, Austria and Spain – as well as sales partners in Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Poland, France, Portugal and Morocco, carefully selecting its partners to responsibly fulfil its security technology tasks.
Responsibilities:
You actively shape a new business area around IoT-based cloud solutions
In this role, you develop and operate our secure cloud platform together with the team
You embed security-by-design throughout the entire lifecycle
You implement scalable backend services, APIs and integrations for the cloud platform
In this role, you connect IoT devices, OT systems and IT platforms securely and efficiently
You further develop data-based functions and use cases in the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable field
You have experience with cloud and IoT platform architectures
You have practical experience in software development, for example with Java, Spring and APIs
You bring experience in the security lifecycle as well as in cloud and OT cybersecurity
You are familiar with secure development, hardening as well as vulnerability, patch and incident management
You have experience in API integration of IT systems and IoT devices
You possess very good German skills and good English skills
