The Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy inpatient is part of the Clinic for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the PDAG (Clinic Director Prof. Dr. med. Marc Walter). It is responsible for modern acute psychiatric treatment of people between 18 and 64 years, which includes biological, psychotherapeutic and social medical interventions and is based on Open-Doors and No-Restraint concepts. The centre is jointly led by Dr. med. Maxim Zavorotnyy and Simone Meister, Head of Nursing, and comprises five wards. There is close networking with Interventional Psychiatry. For doctors, the centre is an SIWF-recognised training centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Category A inpatient (3 years) and for Interventional Psychiatry (rTMS and ECT).

Profile

• You hold a Swiss medical diploma or an equivalent degree in human medicine recognised by MEBEKO
• Ideally, you have professional experience in psychiatry/psychotherapy or somatics
• You are an efficient, well-organised, flexible and resilient team player who gladly takes on responsibility
• Your German language skills are very good, level C1

Tasks

• Under senior physician supervision, you are responsible for the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of adult patients on one of our wards. You will treat patients with conditions from the entire psychiatric spectrum
• Participation in on-call duties within the framework of the PDAG duty concept, including approx. 6 weekend days per year (at 100% workload)
• As part of an interdisciplinary team, you work closely with other centres within the clinic and partner institutions
• You prepare reports for cooperation partners (doctors, psychologists, insurers, offices and authorities)
