Role:

As a Cloud Engineer specialising in Azure Automation & Bicep, you bring on-premises infrastructures into the Microsoft Cloud and make them stable, secure, and automated there. The focus is on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365), complemented by modern endpoint management. You consistently replace recurring manual tasks with code and templates. In case of disruptions, you maintain oversight across identity, network, and devices. In this way, you shape a platform that grows with the requirements.

Responsibilities:

• You plan migration projects from on-premises environments to the cloud and implement them step by step.

• With Bicep, you develop reusable templates and standardise deployments. You specifically refactor existing environments.

• You configure Entra ID with Conditional Access, MFA, and Enterprise Applications and technically implement security and governance requirements.

• Furthermore, you operate Intune from device enrolment to endpoint security and further develop the modern workplace.

• You design virtual networks with NSGs and hybrid connections. For VPN and firewall topics, you coordinate closely with the network team.

• Additionally, you automate operational processes with PowerShell and use AI where it noticeably simplifies administration.

Qualifications:

• You have worked intensively with Azure or M365 for at least three years and have already accompanied transformations from local data centres.

• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code is part of your toolkit, as are secure scripting skills.

• You are confident around identity and access management, for example with RBAC, app registrations, device compliance, and cloud security concepts.

• You understand cloud networks from DNS through routing to subnets. Experience with Fortinet firewalls is a plus.

• In addition, you have a structured way of working and enjoy thoroughly investigating causes. You collaborate on an equal footing with specialist departments and network specialists.

• You also write fluently in German and switch to English effortlessly when needed. A Microsoft certificate, for example as an administrator or security engineer, rounds off your profile.
