Our client is a regionally well-established, small construction company in Eastern Switzerland with a long-standing tradition, an excellent reputation, and a loyal clientele. Thanks to versatile services in civil engineering and a down-to-earth corporate culture, the company enjoys a stable market position and attractive development potential. As part of a succession arrangement, we are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual as Managing Director Civil Engineering 80-100% (a).

Responsibilities

In this varied leadership role, you will take responsibility for the operational day-to-day business, the further development of the company, and the maintenance of important customer relationships. Additional tasks include:

• Leading and developing employees
• Organising and planning the entire operation including construction sites and resources
• Cost calculation, tendering, as well as managing ongoing projects and customers
• Contributing to the future strategic direction
• Maintaining existing customer contacts and expanding the regional network

Requirements

You are a practical personality with entrepreneurial thinking, enjoyment of customer contact, and a strong connection to the main construction trade. Furthermore, we expect:

• Basic training in construction, for example as a bricklayer, carpenter, or equivalent
• Further training as a construction foreman, site manager, project manager, or similar
• Leadership experience as well as organisational and commercial understanding
• A grounded, independent, and solution-oriented personality with a joy in responsibility
