Do you want to use your technical expertise to ensure IT systems operate reliably and continuously evolve? In this position, you take responsibility for a versatile IT infrastructure and work on exciting topics around servers, cloud, networks, and IT security. You can contribute your own ideas and actively shape technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
You manage and optimise physical and virtual servers with Proxmox as well as key Microsoft services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. You also take care of the operation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL databases.
You analyse and resolve complex technical issues in 3rd-level support. With monitoring, regular updates, and security measures, you ensure stable operation in local IT environments and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You further develop the network and security infrastructure and work with firewalls, load balancers, and routing technologies. Additionally, you manage certification authorities and SSL/TLS certificates.
You define technical standards, improve IT security, and document important systems and processes to keep operations efficient and transparent.
You participate in the 24/7 IT on-call service, perform maintenance work outside regular hours when necessary, and occasionally support on-site at the holiday resorts.
Qualifications:
You have training in computer science at EFZ, HF, or FH level or a comparable university degree and bring at least five years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or IT security.
You have good knowledge of server administration, virtualisation, and Microsoft technologies. Experience with Proxmox, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, and GCP is an advantage.
You are familiar with networks and IT security and ideally have experience with firewalls, load balancers, and SSL/TLS certificates.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and enjoy mastering technical challenges and improving existing systems.
You communicate confidently in German and English. Additional IT certifications or experience in software development are a plus.
