The Human Resources Department has the primary mission of ensuring the development of the institution's human capital in view of organisational evolution. It constantly seeks to innovate, challenge, and improve its practices while basing its strategy on the positive experience of employees. The HR policy of the HUG is based on the development of skills and career paths in line with institutional needs and focuses on taking into account the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work.
The HUG nurseries consist of two sites with gardens, one located on the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other near the Cantonal Hospital, as well as a drop-in nursery primarily intended for patients and outpatients at the maternity ward.
The HUG nurseries are company nurseries reserved for the children of employees.
As an early childhood educator, you provide care and activities for children aged 4 months to 5 years, applying the educational approach defined in the institutional project of the HUG nurseries. You ensure an individualised service according to the needs and requirements of the child.
You participate in the development and implementation of the project inspired by the work of Emmi Pikler and guarantee the safety of the children by constantly creating an atmosphere conducive to their development and well-being. To do this, you work collaboratively in a team with a child-centred approach.
