Mechatronics Engineer / Designer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 110,000Our ROCKEN partner develops and manufactures customised threaded drives with specific geometry, ideal materials and suitable hardening processes. Innovative and 100% Swiss quality - and at the same time cost-effective.
The required special tools are produced by our ROCKEN partner itself. This enables the company to achieve a short time-to-market for application-optimised products of the highest precision and efficiency. Various standard threaded drives complete the range.
Responsibilities:
- Development of components considering the product modular system with regard to function, weight, cost, packaging, variance and assembly capability in production and service
- Coordination of component design regarding manufacturability and cost-optimised production
- Coordination and collaboration with the works' production planning regarding cable routing concepts and sampling scopes
- Preparation of requirement specifications in the mechatronic field
- Project-accompanying handling of manufacturing and assembly
Qualifications:
- Training as a designer or polymechanic or automation technician with a degree (HF/FH) in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, precision or microtechnology or comparable career path
- Solid knowledge in the use of 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks, Siemens NX)
- Knowledge of EPLAN P8 desirable
- Good knowledge of common manufacturing technologies and their implementation as well as the use of machine elements and their dimensioning
- A broad technical understanding
- Knowledge in plant and special machine construction is desirable
