Responsibilities:
Building and continuously strengthening security mechanisms within the company-wide Azure environment.
Identifying vulnerabilities and risk areas as well as prioritising appropriate protective measures for cloud resources.
Integrating security controls into technical platforms, development processes, and operational procedures, taking into account established best practices.
Providing professional support for cloud initiatives through protection needs analyses, security designs, and technical reviews.
Further development of architectural principles, operational policies, and evidence documentation as well as establishing sustainable knowledge exchange.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, complemented by Azure-specific expertise.
Proven experience in cloud defence or comparable security functions as well as experience with technical audits and attack simulations.
Confident handling of Microsoft Azure and its various service models, ideally with knowledge of AKS or Identity & Access Management.
Practical experience in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Git, as well as in modern delivery pipelines with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with international security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 270xx and NIST; strong team and communication skills; very good German and English.
