ERP systems are not just an administrative matter for you, but a platform for better processes? This position combines Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, modern development with AL and direct collaboration with the specialist departments. Ideal for a personality who independently designs and implements technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for the further development of a central ERP platform
Analysis of existing business processes and identification of optimisation potential
Translation of business requirements into well-thought-out digital solutions
Development of individual extensions with AL and Visual Studio Code
Design and implementation of integrations via REST APIs, OData and web services
Further development of the system landscape around Business Central and connected applications
Design of automated workflows to reduce manual process steps
Participation in ERP modernisations, releases and technical migrations
Planning and execution of tests as well as quality assurance of new functions
Coordination of external development partners for more complex adjustments
Support of key users and specialist departments with technical questions
Documentation of system changes, interfaces and relevant process adjustments
Monitoring new Microsoft technologies and evaluating their practical use
Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
Good practical knowledge in development with AL
Understanding of ERP processes and business management contexts
Ability to analyse business requirements and implement them technically
Experience with interfaces, APIs or system integrations
Ideally knowledge of REST, OData or modern integration concepts
Interest in low-code, workflow automation and digital process platforms
Experience with software testing, releases and structured development processes
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
Independent working style and enjoyment of collaboration with different specialist departments
Education or degree in computer science, business informatics, application development or comparable practical experience
