Experienced Execution Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Execution Architect / Designer to collaborate on a demanding public major project in the Zurich region. The focus is on tendering, execution, and detailed planning from SIA phase 41 as well as the constructive development of complex building areas. You will coordinate planning interfaces and develop technically convincing solutions together with architecture, specialist planning, and executing companies. The position offers a challenging environment for professionals with solid Swiss experience in construction, execution planning, and CAD/BIM planning.
Responsibilities:
Handling a demanding public major project from SIA phase 41 through to realisation
Creation and coordination of execution, work, and detailed plans for complex building areas
Development of construction, connection, materialisation, and detail solutions taking architectural requirements into account
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services, and other specialist planning disciplines
Review and integration of specialist planner documents into the overarching architectural and execution planning
Review and coordination of workshop, contractor, and assembly plans
Participation in tendering and technical specifications as well as planning support in the awarding process
Creation and maintenance of CAD/BIM models and digital planning bases
Conducting plan, model, and detail checks regarding completeness, feasibility, and planning quality
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations, and project-specific requirements
Planning support during the realisation phase and handling technical and constructive issues arising from execution
Updating plan statuses, revision documents, and project documentation during execution
Qualifications:
Education as Architect FH/ETH, Technician HF Building Construction, Draftsman EFZ specialising in Architecture or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in Switzerland with a focus on demanding execution projects
Solid experience from SIA phase 41, especially in tendering, execution, and detailed planning
Very good knowledge in construction, detailing, and planning interface coordination
Experience with public buildings or complex major projects is an advantage
Confident handling of common CAD/BIM planning software
Very good German language skills for planning coordination and technical documentation
