Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management, planning and realisation of sanitary engineering systems in demanding new construction, conversion and renovation projects. You will independently handle sanitary projects across all relevant SIA phases and be responsible for technical planning, tendering and economic project controlling. The focus is on sanitary planning, CAD plan processing, cost calculation, client consulting and coordination with the trades heating, ventilation and electrical. The position offers diverse project responsibility, direct client contact and the opportunity to actively contribute to the further development of the project business through acquisition and technical consulting.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of sanitary engineering for demanding new construction, conversion and renovation projects in residential, commercial and public building construction
Project processing according to SIA phases from concept development and preliminary planning through tendering and execution planning to realisation and handover
Planning and dimensioning of sanitary engineering systems including drinking water supply, hot water preparation, wastewater and rainwater drainage
Client consulting and conducting buyer meetings with recording of individual requirements, technical advice and coordination of finishing and installation requests
Project controlling and cost management with preliminary calculation, ongoing post-calculation, budget monitoring and economic evaluation of completed projects
Preparation of tenders and quotations including specifications, technical specifications, offer comparisons and award documents
CAD planning and technical plan processing with support in creating installation plans, system schematics, recess and execution plans
Coordination of interdisciplinary building services planning with alignment of sanitary engineering to heating, ventilation, electrical, architecture and other specialist planning areas
Site supervision and execution coordination with monitoring of technical implementation, inspection of installation work and accompaniment of acceptance procedures
Quality assurance and technical project control with adherence to internal quality standards, relevant SIA standards and sanitary engineering regulations
Client acquisition and project development with support of existing clients, acquisition of new clients and participation in offer preparation
Responsibility for deadlines, costs and quality with coordination of project participants, monitoring of milestones and ensuring economical project execution
Qualifications:
Completed training as a building services engineer EFZ specialising in sanitary, ideally with further training as a certified technician HF building services sanitary or a comparable qualification
Willingness to undertake further training at HF level if no corresponding qualification is yet available
Several years of professional experience in planning and realisation of sanitary engineering systems with practical experience in project management
Sound knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and SVGW guidelines, especially SIA 385, SIA 190 and SVGW W3 as well as relevant technical installation regulations
Experience in tendering, calculation and project controlling including preliminary, ongoing and post-calculation as well as economic project management
Good CAD user skills and confident handling of Microsoft Office as well as interdisciplinary knowledge in heating, ventilation and electrical engineering
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for client and buyer meetings, technical documentation and client consulting
