The Professional Practices Development Service (SDPP):

As a promoter of success conditions at the local level and close to the population, the Professional Practices Development Service (SDPP) of AVASAD addresses quality issues, professional support, capacity development, and innovation in the field of home care, particularly in terms of prevention and health promotion. This team of 30 collaborators guarantees an evolving and equitable offer for the entire population of Vaud. To strengthen its team, the Professional Practices Development Service of AVASAD is looking for a future:

Your areas of responsibility:

• Contribute to the definition, development, and quality of social work services and all home care and support services;
• Define and update internal documentation to ensure the quality of social work services;
• Develop professionals’ skills and promote synergies among them;
• Identify training needs in the social work field, design and update training programmes, then ensure the deployment of courses for all regional Associations and Foundations;
• Manage mandates entrusted by the Department of Health and Social Action.

Your skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (HES) or equivalent.
• 5 years of practice in social work within a community setting.
• Experience in project management as well as knowledge of prevention and health promotion, community health, the medico-social network, and the Vaud socio-health system.
• Autonomous, proactive, and conscientious.
• Proactivity, synthesis and analytical skills.
• Leadership and negotiation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication.
• Comfortable with documentary research and use of scientific databases.
