Head of Engineering (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Define and consistently implement the software development strategy together with the innovation management.
Build, lead and establish a modern engineering culture in an interdisciplinary development team.
Technically responsible for software architecture as well as code quality, scalability and security.
Prioritise development projects along the product roadmap and continue to develop selected solutions hands-on.
Evaluate cloud, AI, DevOps, microservices and container technologies and integrate them together with product management, hardware and ICT.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering or comparable qualification.
Leadership experience in software development as well as strategic thinking and a strong technical hands-on mentality.
Sound knowledge of modern software architectures, cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD and container technologies.
Experience with agile methods and tools such as Scrum, Kanban and Jira; Azure DevOps as well as IoT, energy or security experience is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills as well as very good German and good English skills.
