Role:
As an experienced professional, you strategically and operationally shape the further development of complex IT system landscapes and take on technical responsibility for central platform components. You manage demanding projects with a focus on scalability, security, and future viability and actively contribute your expertise to architectural decisions. In this role, you analyse existing processes, identify optimisation potentials, and develop sustainable solutions. You work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement technical requirements purposefully. Your deep understanding of modern technologies and your ability to communicate complex contexts clearly enable you to play a decisive role in technological advancement.
Responsibilities:
- You continuously develop the Microsoft system landscape and are responsible for the operation of Active Directory, ADFS, Entra ID, as well as Identity & Access Management at second- and third-level support
- In this role, you manage the Windows Server infrastructure including software distribution and security operations
- You independently implement automations and standardisations using PowerShell
- As a server systems engineer, you design and realise sustainable on-premise and cloud solutions
- You take on the technical leadership of projects and actively contribute your expert knowledge to project teams
- In cross-departmental initiatives, you support application managers with technical questions and implementations
Qualifications:
- Completed IT vocational training with further education as an IT technician, e.g. federal certificate in computer science
- Several years of experience in complex, business-critical 7x24 IT infrastructures
- Sound knowledge of Windows Server systems and services such as ADDS, ADFS, and ADCS
- Experience with hybrid Microsoft environments, especially Azure Cloud, EntraID, and M365
- You convince with strong communication skills and confident appearance
- You have the ambition to design, implement, and operate sustainable IT solutions in the long term
