Industrial Safety and Risk Management Engineer (M/F)

Job Description

Attached to the department dedicated to risk prevention and the preservation of technical assets, you act as a safety engineering expert throughout the entire lifecycle of high-level complex infrastructures.

Your main tasks:

• Risk Analysis & Compliance: Map constraints, assess operational/systemic risks, and develop appropriate prevention/mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle of the facilities.

• Workplace Safety: Audit operational activities and workstations to ensure personnel protection and formalise suitable prevention plans.

• Regulatory Expertise: Analyse applicable regulatory texts, conduct regulatory monitoring, and provide informed technical recommendations to secure production processes.

• Project Support & Advice: Guide and advise internal engineering teams from the initial design phase through to equipment dismantling.

• Reporting: Prepare and formalise expert summaries, technical reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent) specialised in industrial hygiene/safety, process engineering, mechanical, chemical, or related technical field.

• Experience: Proven experience in process safety within demanding industrial environments or on major technical projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced mastery of risk analysis and compliance tools and methodologies applicable to large-scale infrastructures.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and normative frameworks (Swiss, French, or European standards).

  • Recognised abilities in drafting technical summaries.

• Languages: Proficiency in French (advanced level) and professional use of English (intermediate level).
