Join the Fondation des Maisons de Retraite du district d’Aigle, a humane institution with 240 employees managing 190 beds and 28 places in the Temporary Reception Centre (CAT). A major player in healthcare in the Vaud Chablais region, our foundation is constantly evolving, notably with the construction of a new facility in Bex planned for 2028. Your missions
Organise and provide personalised care and support: Plan and carry out basic and medico-technical care within your competencies, promoting the autonomy and well-being of the resident.
Organise and coordinate care activities: Participate in the daily organisation of work and team coordination, in collaboration with the nurse.
Assess needs and ensure continuity of care: Identify the physical, psychological and social needs of the resident, adapt support and ensure the transmission of information as well as the proper maintenance of the resident’s file.
Provide delegated medical acts: Perform medico-technical acts within your field of competence and your job description.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team: Work closely with various professionals to ensure coherent and coordinated care.
Required profile
- Interest in the elderly: Strong interest in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics; previous experience in a nursing home is an asset.
- Professional attitude: Calm, attentive, caring, responsible and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organisation and autonomy: Ability to organise and prioritise work, show initiative and contribute to the daily coordination of care.
- Adaptability and team spirit: Analytical skills, adaptability and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team, including in complex care situations.
- Digital skills: Proficiency with institutional IT tools and ease in maintaining the resident’s electronic file (DIR/Carefolio).
Level of education
Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) required or recognition of an equivalent foreign diploma issued by the Swiss Red Cross (SRC). FEE training: a major asset.
