Construction Site Manager
Iconic construction projects
You play a central role in the realisation of construction projects. As the true guarantor of their proper execution, you coordinate the companies, contractors and various partners to ensure compliance with costs, deadlines and quality requirements. Within an experienced team, you lead large-scale projects in an environment that values collaboration, proximity to the site and technical excellence.
Main responsibilities
- Intervene from the general estimate and tender phases to prepare the optimal conditions for project execution.
- Develop and manage execution schedules, organise phasing, site installations and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage the construction works by coordinating all companies, contractors and partners involved on site.
- Supervise tender procedures, participate in awards and monitor company contracts, particularly within the framework of public contracts.
- Ensure cost control, check additional offers, deposits and invoices, while ensuring budget compliance.
- Be the guarantor of the quality of work execution, in close collaboration with architects, specialised contractors and companies.
- Maintain a regular presence on construction sites, anticipate difficulties, propose pragmatic solutions and ensure smooth progress of the works.
- Maintain a trusting relationship with project owners, architects, contractors and companies throughout the project realisation.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth execution in line with set objectives.
- Actively contribute to the success of complex construction projects by ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and expected quality levels.
Your profile
- You have proven experience in construction site management in Switzerland, ideally on complex and large-scale projects, particularly in the public or parapublic sectors.
- You master TCE construction management and are comfortable managing costs, deadlines, quality as well as coordinating companies and contractors.
- Comfortable with IT tools, you use MS Project, Excel and ideally Messerli.
- Reliable, committed and proactive, you demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy being present on site to advance projects.
- With excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to establish a climate of trust with project owners, architects, contractors and companies.
- You have a natural authority and know how to enforce decisions with tact, diplomacy and pragmatism.
- Structured, rigorous and comfortable with numbers, you appreciate demanding environments where anticipation, organisation and responsiveness are essential.
- Driven by ambitious projects, you wish to contribute to the realisation of iconic works by ensuring impeccable execution.
- You are perfectly comfortable in French. Good knowledge of German is a real asset.
