Junior Accounting Assistant - 100%

A subsidiary of the Franco-Swiss group Asendia, Asendia Press Edigroup SA is a company of 30 people, a leader in the promotion, management and distribution of subscriptions on behalf of publishers and partners in Switzerland and Belgium.

To complete our Finance team, we are looking for:

Responsibilities:

Within the Finance team and in close collaboration with the Chief Accountant, you will participate in maintaining the company’s accounting for the various markets in which we operate (French-speaking Switzerland, German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Belgium).

• Posting supplier invoices and processing supplier payments
• Preparing statements for publishers and partners, monitoring corresponding payments
• Preparing closures carried out on behalf of certain publishers
• Managing periodic closures in the subscription management ERP and reconciling with accounting
• Daily integration of payment flows and bank files into the subscription management ERP
• Supporting the Chief Accountant in entering accounting transactions, bank reconciliations and preparing monthly and annual closures
• Participating in the automation and optimisation of accounting processes, notably through the use of artificial intelligence tools
• Participating in the management of routine personnel formalities
• Close collaboration with the company’s various departments, notably customer relations and logistics
• Various administrative tasks related to the role.

Profile:

• Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training, ideally complemented by accounting training (federal diploma in progress or planned: a plus)
• First experience of 1 to 3 years in accounting (including internships and apprenticeships)
• Good command of Excel
• Comfortable with artificial intelligence tools and interested in process automation
• Knowledge of an ERP or WinEur GIT is an asset
• Rigour, organisational skills and respect for deadlines
• Team spirit, curiosity and eagerness to learn
