Building a machine in the factory is one thing. Successfully commissioning it at the customer’s site is what excites you? For our client in Swiss special machine construction, we are looking for a service technician who enjoys solving technical challenges independently on site. The international travel activity is around 40-60%.
- You commission the systems and test their functions until handover.
- You analyse malfunctions and rectify faults in mechanics, electrics, and control systems.
- You optimise settings and support customers with technical questions.
- You instruct operating and maintenance personnel on the systems.
- You discuss insights from your assignments with the specialist departments in Switzerland.
- You are familiar with machines or industrial systems from assembly, commissioning, or service.
- You understand the interaction of mechanics, electrics, and control technology.
- You approach malfunctions in a structured way and find practical solutions.
- You communicate well in English and can converse in German within the team.
- You enjoy travelling and are available for worldwide assignments; knowledge of Beckhoff/TwinCAT or drive technology is an advantage.
- You work on demanding machines directly at international customers.
- You receive five weeks’ holiday and flexible working hours.
- You can further develop your technical knowledge in special machine construction.
- You work with a collegial team that supports you with technical questions.
- Your experiences from customer assignments can contribute to improving processes.

Profile
- You have a technical education, for example as an automation technician, polymechanic, electromechanic, or mechatronics technician.- You are familiar with machines or industrial systems from assembly, commissioning, or service.
- You understand the interaction of mechanics, electrics, and control technology.
- You approach malfunctions in a structured way and find practical solutions.
- You communicate well in English and can converse in German within the team.
- You enjoy travelling and are available for worldwide assignments; knowledge of Beckhoff/TwinCAT or drive technology is an advantage.
