For a modern IT environment, an experienced professional is sought who is responsible for the technical provision and further development of Windows applications. You combine sound know-how in application engineering with confident handling of modern deployment technologies and thus make an important contribution to a stable digital workplace.
In this role, you work closely with internal application managers as well as external partners. In addition to packaging and providing software, you also take on tasks in 2nd-level support and contribute to various workplace projects.
Responsibilities:
Planning, prioritising, and coordinating the application engineering process including controlling
Creation, testing, and maintenance of software packages for Windows 11
Provision and management of applications with MSIX, App-V, and MECM
Recording and analysing requirements for application provision, further development, and lifecycle management
Handling incidents, problems, and changes in 2nd-level support
Coordination of external IT partners as well as participation in digital workplace projects, maintenance work, and on-call duties
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or several years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment
Extensive experience in application engineering and software packaging
Good knowledge of technologies such as MSIX, App-V, MECM or comparable solutions
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
Good practical experience in PowerShell as well as experience with PSADT; knowledge of PolicyPak is a plus
Independent, precise, and service-oriented working style as well as very good German language skills
