Store Fitter EFZ / Service Technician (m/f/d)

For a renowned Swiss specialist company, which specialises in high-quality sun and weather protection systems in the greater Zurich area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a quality-conscious personality as Store Fitter EFZ / Service Technician Sun Protection.

In addition to trained store professionals, skilled workers from metal construction, locksmithing, mechanics, assembly or related technical trades also receive an excellent opportunity for professional retraining with structured, intensive induction.

Your Tasks

• Independent execution of repair, maintenance and service orders on venetian blinds, roller shutters, awnings, louvre roofs and textile shading systems.
• Professional dismantling, repair and reassembly of store systems mainly in the private and property sector (existing buildings).
• Professional replacement of wear parts (gearboxes, motors, bearings, cranks, straps) as well as re-covering of awning fabrics and retrofitting of drives.
• Troubleshooting on site, assessment of repair vs. replacement solutions as well as measurement for quotations and material orders.
• Competent and friendly customer advice on site as well as clean, fully digital reporting of orders, times and material consumption.

Your Profile

• Completed basic training as a store fitter EFZ or store practitioner EBA or solid several years of professional experience in the sun protection sector or completed craft apprenticeship in the technical field (metalworker EFZ, locksmith, polybuilder, mechanic, carpenter or similar) with solid mechanical skills and assembly practice for targeted retraining.
• Valid driving licence category B mandatory (for own service vehicle).
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form for customer contact and digital reports.
• Neat appearance, very good manners and pronounced service orientation.
• Independent, precise and clean working method, sense of responsibility as well as sure-footedness and safety in handling ladders/scaffolding.
