For our ROCKEN partner, a globally active financial institution with the culture, pace, and agility of a start-up and located in Baar, we are seeking an experienced professional for the finance function. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to further developing the financial system landscape and participate in scalable, high-quality consolidation and reporting processes. This position combines solid accounting expertise with automation, process improvement, and insight into a publicly listed global financial company reporting under IFRS.
Responsibilities:
You contribute to the closing and consolidation process of the Group Financial Reporting team and ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality financial information
You participate in management reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial information for key stakeholders
You prepare and/or review financial statements, consolidation results, and accounting treatments to ensure accuracy and compliance, including IFRS-compliant external reporting
You support the statutory accounting team on accounting issues, reporting inputs, and technical finance questions
You support the continuous improvement of the financial system landscape with a focus on automation, process efficiency, data quality, and reporting excellence
You participate in various finance-related projects in close collaboration with teams from accounting, controlling, reporting, and systems
You assist with technical IFRS topics, including accounting assessments, implementation of new standards, and analysis of complex transactions
Qualifications:
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, controlling, finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, Swiss CPA, or a comparable qualification are advantageous
You bring around five years of relevant professional experience or a solid foundation directly from CPA/audit training
You possess sound accounting knowledge, including consolidation, statutory accounting, IFRS financial reporting, or related technical accounting areas
You can analyse financial data, identify significant movements, and communicate insights clearly
You work in a structured, precise, and quality-oriented manner and keep deadlines in view even in a dynamic environment
You show interest in financial systems, automation, and process improvement, ideally with experience in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting or similar consolidation tools
You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with international stakeholders; fluent English skills are required
