Role:

A cloud platform is only as good as the engineering behind it. This is exactly where you come in. As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will further develop a modern Microsoft Azure environment and keep it stable in operation. Your toolkit ranges from Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to clean identity concepts. You combine technical precision with a clear focus on efficiency and security.

Responsibilities:

• You design Azure resources such as virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups (NSG) and implement storage and compute services technically.

• With PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code, you automate recurring operational processes and specifically develop cloud components further.

• You operate Windows 365, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop and ensure a reliable digital workplace.

• Additionally, you are responsible for Microsoft Entra ID: you maintain app registrations, enterprise applications, and roles and consistently implement access and security requirements.

• In the event of complex disruptions across network, identity, Windows Server, and cloud, you find the cause and secure availability with monitoring, logging, and backup concepts.

• You also carry out migrations, changes, and lifecycle projects and optimise existing resources for cost efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of solid experience in Windows system engineering and the cloud environment.

• Virtual machines, storage, NSGs, and private networking are familiar territory for you, as are other IaaS and PaaS components.

• You understand hybrid network connections, VPN, routing, DNS, and firewalls not only in theory.

• You work confidently with RBAC and identity concepts and are well versed in client infrastructures and Windows Server.

• Furthermore, you write automations confidently and have ideally worked with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform. Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and business continuity concepts are also familiar to you.

• Moreover, you approach problems analytically and with perseverance and like to take responsibility. You have a high level of German proficiency and can read and write technical documentation in English without difficulty.
