Founded on 14 April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and oversee cycling in all its forms and for everyone, as a competitive sport, a healthy leisure activity, and a means of transport. The UCI also promotes its own events, notably the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, as well as many other World Championships and World Cups in various disciplines. Its headquarters are located in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.
The UCI is looking for a:
Business Travel Advisor (80%)
French - English
Fixed-term Assignment
Mission:
Management of travel for employees, management, and anyone required to travel for the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the UCI World Cycling Centre (CMC UCI).
Main responsibilities:
- Booking individual business trips (flights via GDS, low-cost, train tickets, car rentals, and accommodation): analysing requests, searching for availability at the best price, sending offers to travellers, and finalising bookings
- Booking and coordination during events: monitoring participant lists and booking travel in coordination with the various stakeholders responsible for the event
- Booking ancillary services: extra luggage, transport of sports equipment
- Verification of credit card statements.
Profile:
- Travel agent training or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing and booking business travel
- Proficiency in Amadeus
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
- Strong customer orientation
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Accuracy and discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Initiative
- Good stress and pressure management.
Start date and duration of assignment: September 2026 to 31 October 2027.
