Responsibilities:
You develop sophisticated software solutions and new features – from the initial concept through implementation to successful go-live.
You ensure that functional and technical requirements are met and that your solutions convince in terms of performance, quality and security.
You accompany the entire software lifecycle and ensure sustainable quality with clean code, meaningful tests and clear documentation.
You actively work on existing, long-established systems and purposefully further develop them.
You take on refactoring tasks and contribute to gradually modernising legacy components.
You bring in modern development and architectural approaches and thereby improve structure, transparency and efficiency.
You use AI-supported tools productively in your daily development work and help to sensibly and responsibly further develop their use.
You develop ML- and LLM-based functions and integrate them into productive applications and processes.
You pay particular attention to quality, reliability, data protection and security in AI solutions.
You analyse complex incidents and support the sustainable resolution of technical problems.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science at a university of applied sciences or university or have a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of solid experience in PHP development and ideally know Laravel as well as PHP 8.x.
You have very good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and can confidently create even complex SQL queries.
You have experience with RESTful APIs and the integration of third-party APIs and external services.
You are familiar with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 and have a good understanding of modern frontend paradigms.
You have no qualms about legacy code and bring experience in purposefully further developing and modernising existing systems.
You understand infrastructure-as-code concepts and have practical experience with DevOps principles.
You have already used AI tools in your daily development work and ideally integrated ML- or LLM-based functions in productive environments.
You approach AI critically and responsibly, check results and consider limits, security and data protection from the outset.
You work confidently with Git and know established branching strategies.
You work independently, analytically and solution-oriented.
You take initiative and can independently drive demanding software projects forward.
You are curious and enjoy continuously developing your professional skills.
Languages: You have very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills.
