Architectural Draughtsperson (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as an EFZ-certified draughtsperson specialising in architecture for the technical processing of demanding building construction projects in a Swiss architectural office. You will take on central tasks in execution planning, working drawings, and constructive detail development and support the implementation of architectural designs into precise technical planning documents. The focus is on CAD planning with ArchiCAD, the creation of tender and execution plans, as well as coordination with specialist planners and experts. The position combines constructive building planning, digital building modelling, and technical planning coordination with participation in demanding architectural projects.

Responsibilities:

• Execution planning architecture: Independent creation and processing of execution plans, working drawings, and technical architectural drawings for demanding building construction projects.

• Working and detail planning: Development and elaboration of construction details, component connections, façade sections, and technical execution documents.

• ArchiCAD plan processing: Creation, editing, and updating of 2D/3D architectural plans and digital building models with ArchiCAD.

• Tender planning: Preparation of tender plans, detail drawings, and technical planning bases for submissions and contractor inquiries.

• Constructive project processing: Implementation of architectural specifications into technically feasible constructions, material compositions, and execution details.

• Specialist planner coordination: Coordination of architectural plans with structural engineers, building services planners, building physicists, and other specialists.

• Digital building modelling: Support in the creation, maintenance, and further development of 3D building models and model-based planning documents.

• Interface coordination: Examination and processing of technical interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services, and interior construction.

• Plan review and quality assurance: Checking measurement chains, plan statuses, component information, detail designs, and technical drawing standards.

• Materialisation and building technology: Drafting of façade constructions, wall and roof assemblies, floor connections, as well as interior finishing and material details.

• Plan management and documentation: Maintenance of plan directories, revision statuses, digital project documents, and technical execution documentation.

• Collaboration in the project team: Close coordination with project architects, project managers, specialist planners, and external experts in the technical development of construction projects.

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as an EFZ-certified draughtsperson specialising in architecture, mandatory.

• Professional experience in execution, working, and detail planning of building construction projects in Switzerland is an advantage.

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD, especially in 2D/3D plan processing, working drawings, and digital building modelling.

• Solid understanding of building constructions, material compositions, component connections, and constructive detail design.

• Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and technical requirements for execution planning of building construction projects.

• Experience in coordinating architectural plans with specialist planner documents as well as in preparing tender and execution documentation.

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical planning coordination, project documentation, and collaboration with specialist planners and project managers.
