About the job
Val Fleuri, a living place (EMS), is a medicalised residence with 208 beds that welcomes people weakened by age and illness. Our nursing care, hospitality, dietetics, administration, sociocultural animation and reception-admission services consist of multidisciplinary teams, committed, qualified and trained professionals who support our elders in an adapted, safe and pleasant structure. Within this framework, we offer numerous activities for the Residents.
We are looking for our sociocultural animation sector:
A QUALIFIED SOCIOCULTURAL ANIMATOR
Your mission :
- In collaboration with various internal and external partners, you develop a policy and a programme of cultural, social and therapeutic services, which allow our residents to participate in activities adapted to their care plan;
- You are responsible for implementing animation activities for the institution such as cultural, gastronomic, sporting, relational and festive entertainments for our residents;
- You participate in managing the volunteer sector and maintain links with residents, their families and staff;
- You contribute to the good harmony of the animation team and foster a spirit of collaboration with the various services of the institution.
Your profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a socio-educational assistant (ASE) and have at least one year of professional experience in the field;
- You are a conscientious, committed and well-organised person, smiling and able to work in a multidisciplinary setting, in a team or independently;
- You have training in sociocultural animation and successful experience in the field of gerontology;
- You enjoy contact with elderly people and contribute to a friendly atmosphere in our living place;
- You have a good knowledge of the Geneva socio-health and associative network as well as its main partners;
- With a creative and flexible personality, you have an irreproachable work ethic.
