For our ROCKEN partner, a company with over 50 years of experience in energy plant construction in the low, medium, and high voltage sectors located in Hägendorf, we are immediately seeking a committed individual for the financial accounting department. You have financial accounting under control and ensure correct, timely posting. In this versatile role, you analyse figures, identify deviations, and prepare well-founded decision-making bases for management.
Responsibilities:
You ensure correct and timely posting in financial accounting, including accounts receivable and payable
You independently manage payroll accounting for two departments and ensure correct payroll processing
You actively contribute your expertise to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You participate in budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning
You prepare meaningful evaluations, key figures, and reports
You identify deviations, analyse their causes, and prepare financial decision-making bases for management
You reliably handle VAT returns and other periodic financial tasks
You actively contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of the finance department
Qualifications:
You hold a federal diploma in finance and accounting
You have several years of experience in financial accounting
You have experience in payroll accounting and are familiar with relevant social insurances and payroll-related calculations
You have a strong flair for numbers and enjoy analysing and questioning them
You work independently, in a structured and very precise manner
You have very good Excel skills and are confident in using digital tools
You have experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and convince through responsibility, discretion, and reliability
