System Engineer (m/f/d)
Keeping complex IT systems running requires genuine expertise and absolute reliability. Our Rocken partner specialises in holistic IT services for corporate clients and offers customised solutions for the entire IT infrastructure. Individual customer care is paramount here. The scope of work includes planning, implementation, and support of modern IT environments – from infrastructure through cloud integration to endpoint management solutions. You work closely with customers, develop tailored concepts, and ensure that IT systems function smoothly. Participation in IT projects with technologies such as NetApp, HPE, HPI, and SonicWall
Installation and configuration of virtual and highly available environments with NetApp, VMware, Veeam, and Microsoft
Installation and support of customer systems remotely and on-site including support
Responsibility for cloud and Microsoft 365 migrations as well as participation in VoIP migrations
Monitoring and support of the managed services platform as well as performing 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or equivalent qualification as well as several years of experience in the IT provider environment
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Client/Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, GPO, Exchange, and Veeam
Good knowledge of the OSI model and ideally experience with NetApp, HPE, and Linux
Strong customer and team orientation as well as willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours
Very good German skills, good English skills, and a category B driving licence are mandatory
