Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Manage the infrastructures under the responsibility of the Infrastructure sector, performing automation, updating, implementation, and documentation tasks in Confluence.

Required Skills

Essential technical skills

• Proven experience with VMware vSphere

• Proven experience in PowerShell scripting

• Proven experience with Windows Server OS

Desirable technical skills (assets)

• Proven knowledge of Control-M, Ansible AWX and Terraform

• Knowledge of NetBackup and/or PPDM backup solutions

• Knowledge of Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Confluence and Jira Service Management

• Knowledge of IaaS operation in Azure

• Vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, VMware)

Methodology & processes

• Good knowledge of ITIL and/or HERMES processes, preferably with certification

Soft skills & languages

• Good team spirit, integrated within an engineering team

• Good writing skills in French

• Autonomous personality, with good analytical and synthesis skills, highly adaptable and stress-resistant

• Interested and passionate, evolving according to the sector’s ambitions

• Languages: French C2, English B2, German B1 (bonus)

Main activities

• Join the team responsible for VMware, Backup, NAS and hosting infrastructures

• Maintain operating manuals and work instructions for the operations teams

• Resolve level 3 incidents, document them and ensure knowledge transfer to lower support levels

• Manage tasks, projects and assignments related to the Infrastructure sector

• Integrate new automations with Ansible, PowerShell and Control-M according to established guidelines

• Possible interventions at night, weekends and public holidays

• Future absences of the employee will be indicated in the secondment contract
