Role:
In this role, you will shape the strategic, technical, and organisational leadership of IT services, thereby influencing a future-oriented working environment with full mobility, performance-oriented flexibility, as well as efficient communication and collaboration. You are responsible for the stable, secure, and future-proof operation of the entire IT infrastructure and contribute significantly to enabling modern working and project environments. Together with your counterpart, you define central standards, guidelines, and priorities to continuously develop the IT landscape. Additionally, you act as a competent contact person for all IT-related questions at the management level and ensure that technological decisions optimally support the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
You develop the IT strategy and architecture together with management and implement strategic IT projects.
In this role, you analyse, optimise, and digitalise central IT service processes and are responsible for budget, resource, and partner management.
As Teamlead IT Operations & Engineering, you lead the team leaders in support and engineering, shape the team organisation, and promote personnel and junior staff development.
You ensure a stable, secure IT operation across networks, VDI, hardware, software, and security and are responsible for support, administration, and lifecycle processes.
In this role, you coordinate external service providers and suppliers and ensure high service quality towards internal stakeholders.
You act as a link between IT, management, and specialist departments and create and maintain decision-making bases, IT documentation, and training materials.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
You have solid professional experience in the areas of network & security, workplace/VDI, server & storage, as well as virtualisation/cloud.
You are very familiar with common technologies, platforms, as well as modern IT architecture and security principles.
You bring 2-3 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
You convince with strong conceptual, organisational, and communication skills as well as a high solution orientation and assertiveness.
You have very good (Swiss) German language skills; additional national languages or English are an advantage.
