Head of Exhibition and Consulting 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for a committed leader to take on the following tasks:

• Management and continuous development of the exhibition and sales counter team with strategic personnel planning

• Professional customer consulting at a high level - both by phone and on site in the modern exhibition area

• Responsibility for the entire sales process: from quotation to systematic follow-up to final order entry in the ERP system

• Active involvement in shaping the exhibition in close coordination with the product managers, with a special focus on floor coverings

• Ensuring up-to-dateness through regular maintenance of product samples and assortment documentation

• Presence during usual business hours including 2-3 Saturdays per month (mornings only)

What do I need to be successful?

Our client desires a personality with the following qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship as a floor layer, carpenter or joiner, ideally combined with practical experience in a commercial environment, trade or sales

• Solid expertise, strong sense of responsibility and passion to inspire and develop employees

• Sales talent with the ability to respond individually to customer needs and develop innovative solutions

• A flair for appealing interior design and contemporary style

• Strong communication skills in German (spoken French is an advantage)

• Professional, friendly and well-groomed appearance

• Motivation for continuous personal and professional development

• Solid knowledge in handling IT applications
