Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Taking over 3rd-level support and providing technical advice to customers on complex network and security issues
Designing and implementing network, firewall and VPN solutions for demanding customer environments
Operating, monitoring and continuously developing the core, access and data centre networks
Analysing and resolving complex network faults as well as conducting system analyses and network audits
Optimising network services and operational processes including capacity planning, changes, incidents and on-call duties
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or comparable practical experience in network engineering
Solid knowledge of IP networks, Layer 2/3, routing, switching, firewalls and VPN
Very good experience with BGP, MPLS and data centre networks including data centre interconnection
Knowledge of Cisco, Barracuda, Brocade, Extreme or Ruckus as well as experience in operational network management
Fluent German and English skills as well as residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
