Role:
You lead the support team and stay close to the users
You take on a central role between team leadership, operational support, and the further development of the ICT service organisation. You ensure clear processes, prioritise requests, and actively participate in 1st level support. At the same time, you continuously develop the team and support processes.
Responsibilities:
You lead the ICT support team professionally and develop the employees together with the IT services management.
You plan the team’s deployments and presence times and ensure reliable support coverage.
You support employees, lecturers, and students personally, by phone, and via the ticket system in 1st level support.
You prioritise support cases, coordinate their processing, and initiate targeted escalations if necessary.
You optimise the organisation and processes of the ICT support and implement improvement measures sustainably.
You coordinate the setup, relocation, and commissioning of Windows and macOS workstations as well as other end devices.
You accompany the procurement of IT equipment from needs assessment through evaluation to order processing.
You support users with questions regarding audio and video technology in teaching and meeting rooms.
Qualifications:
You have training as an ICT specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification in the IT field.
You bring several years of experience in ICT support and initial experience with professional team responsibility.
Ideally, you have an ITIL certification or corresponding knowledge.
You work very service-oriented and enjoy direct contact with users.
You have very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows as well as good knowledge of macOS and iOS.
Ideally, you are familiar with audio and video technology in meeting and training environments.
You convince through strong communication skills, organisational talent, and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
You have excellent German language skills.
