System Engineer Cloud & On-Premises (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a globally active company in packaging technology based in Aargau and offers customised complete solutions for end packaging and transport security.
Role:
As a System Engineer Cloud & On-Premises, you keep a versatile IT landscape running and improve it step by step. The focus is on environments around Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure. Here you actively shape rather than just manage. You enjoy automating recurring tasks with PowerShell. This way, you gain time for exciting projects. Your technical depth and your open ear for users make you a sought-after point of contact.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the administration and expansion of the Microsoft cloud environment and develop it purposefully.
You plan and implement modern endpoint management and workplace concepts in a practical manner.
You take care of servers, security, network, and virtualisation, ensuring stable operation.
Furthermore, you analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and resolve them sustainably.
In backup, compliance, and monitoring, you support IT security and document systems and processes thoroughly.
Additionally, you accompany digitalisation projects and act as the technical contact person for internal departments.
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training with further education at HF or FH level.
You have several years of experience in engineering and operating IT infrastructures.
You are confident in M365 and Windows Server, and knowledge of Microsoft’s cloud platform is an advantage.
Ideally, you also have experience in IT security, virtualisation, and networking as well as scripting skills. Topics such as cloud, business continuity management (BCM), and new technologies spark your curiosity.
You communicate confidently in German and English, both orally and in writing.
Moreover, you tackle tasks independently, gladly take on responsibility, and approach users with empathy and team spirit.
