Senior Legal Counsel - 6 months - Geneva - 100%

As a Senior Legal Counsel based in Geneva, you will be responsible for providing accurate and relevant legal advice in Swiss law to ensure compliance with regulations and support the company’s activities. This 6-month temporary position will allow you to work on a variety of legal and strategic matters.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Legal Counsel, your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of commercial contracts (suppliers, IT, marketing, service provisions, etc.);
• Advising operational teams on day-to-day legal matters;
• Supporting corporate activities and contributing to certain governance projects;
• Handling issues related to consumer law, customer complaints and pre-litigation;
• Providing support on data protection matters;
• Participating in routine real estate matters and lease contract management;
• Coordinating with external counsel when necessary;
• Identifying legal risks and proposing pragmatic solutions adapted to business challenges;
• Collaborating with the group’s various specialised departments.

Candidate Profile

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you have the following profile:

• Swiss legal education;
• Approximately 8 to 15 years of professional experience;
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss law;
• Significant experience in a generalist legal counsel role or in a law firm;
• Proficiency in drafting, analysing and negotiating contracts;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset;
• Pragmatic, solution- and business-oriented approach;
• Fluent in French and professional level English;
• German is an asset.
