PPNV Site Coordinator

The Vaud Cantonal Penitentiary Service is planning the construction of new facilities on the site of the Northern Vaud Penitentiary Hub (PPNV). As part of these constructions and to ensure the smooth running of our future sites, we are looking for a site coordinator.

In this role, you will be in direct contact with project managers and various stakeholders. You will organise the daily monitoring of activities and plan interventions taking into account synchronisation, priorities, and unforeseen events. You will also participate in the supervision of site supervisors. Finally, you will be the safety contact for companies and stakeholders.

• Ensure the operational supervision of the PPNV site supervisors;
• Coordinate the sites on the site: planning, synchronisation and control of interventions;
• Ensure compliance with safety, security rules and general site concepts;
• Ensure the flow of information between all actors (site meetings, reports);
• Ensure the coherence of the work to minimise the impact on site operations, users and sensitive activities;
• Manage operational projects related to the development of the site.

• You hold a diploma as a construction site technician.

• You have completed safety officer training.

• You have 10 years of professional experience in the construction field.

• You have 5 years of experience in site management.

• Knowledge of complex projects in operation (airport, hospital, Swiss Federal Railways, prison environment, etc.)

• Sense of responsibility and priorities.

• Ability to manage stress and a keen sense of observation, analysis and synthesis.

• Good command of French and common IT tools.

Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, free of debt enforcement proceedings (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and your criminal record must be clean.
