Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a committed professional for architectural project management with a focus on design, project planning and execution planning of demanding building projects. You will accompany diverse construction projects from architectural concept development through technical project processing to implementation and take responsibility for design and constructive solutions. The focus is on 3D-supported planning with ArchiCAD, the development of execution-ready construction details, and coordination with clients, specialist planners and contractors. The position combines independent project responsibility with close collaboration within the planning team and offers the opportunity to deepen existing skills in execution planning.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project processing and architectural project management of building projects through all relevant planning phases up to the support of construction implementation

• Architectural design and concept development with elaboration of functional, design and constructive solutions for various construction projects

• Project planning according to SIA phases with processing of preliminary projects, construction projects, approval documents and execution-ready planning bases

• Working and execution planning with creation of precise floor plans, sections, facades and technical planning documents for construction execution

• Constructive detail planning with development and optimisation of component connections, building envelopes, material transitions and technically demanding execution details

• 3D-supported architectural planning with ArchiCAD including digital building modelling, plan derivation and ongoing updating of project documents

• Coordination of interdisciplinary specialist planners with alignment of architecture, structural engineering, building services and other project-relevant specialist areas

• Client consulting and project communication with recording of requirements, presentation of planning solutions and support of design and technical decisions

• Technical coordination with contractors to clarify execution questions, constructive interfaces and project-specific detail requirements

• Support during construction execution with checking the conformity between planning and implementation as well as assistance with technical and design issues

• Schedule and planning coordination with organisation of project workflows, monitoring of plan delivery deadlines and coordination of involved planning partners

• Quality assurance of architectural planning with control of plan statuses, technical details, building law requirements and design consistency

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at FH or ETH or a comparable technical construction education with solid experience in architectural planning

• Professional experience in project planning and execution planning of building projects or strong motivation to deepen existing knowledge in technical planning

• Good constructive understanding and technical knowledge in building construction, materialisation, detail development and architectural design

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD, especially in 3D building modelling and in creating working and execution plans

• Knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases and construction project processes as well as experience in coordination with specialist planners, clients and executing companies

• Independent, structured and responsible working style with organisational skills, communication strength and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

• German language skills at native level or at least C2 for independent project communication, technical documentation and coordination with all project participants
