Senior Accountant - Consolidation - Geneva

Founded in 2001, Fed Finance is a recruitment agency specialising in accounting and finance professions.

For one of our clients, a service company based in Geneva operating in an international environment, we are looking for a Senior Accountant at 100%.

Reporting directly to Management, you play a key role and independently manage the accounting and financial management of the Swiss entity, while also overseeing the monitoring of various international entities.

Your main duties:

-Complete management of the general accounting of the Swiss entity.
-Monitoring of customer and supplier accounting.
-Management of payments and bank reconciliations.
-Preparation of monthly and annual closings.
-Preparation of VAT returns and participation in tax matters.
-Preparation of financial statements.
-Participation in the consolidation of the group’s various entities.
-Production of financial reports for Management.
-Monitoring of cash flow, budgets and key financial indicators.
-Coordination with accounting partners based abroad.
-Management of salaries, social insurances and routine HR administrative tasks.

Profile sought:

-Higher education in accounting, finance or equivalent training.
-Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
-Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP.
-Experience in consolidation and IFRS.
-Exposure to American accounting standards or practices is an advantage.
-Fluent in French and English
-Autonomous, versatile and with a strong sense of responsibility.
-Pragmatic, rigorous and solution-oriented.
