IT Operations Engineer Linux (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 115,000Role:
Ensure the stable operation of our IT infrastructure and contribute your expertise to projects around Linux (RHEL), Docker/Kubernetes and virtualisation. You will work with an experienced team on site and take responsibility for test and production systems. Oracle knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities:
You operate and monitor Linux systems (RHEL) in test and production environments
You participate in projects focusing on container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
You manage virtualisation platforms and optimise existing infrastructures
You document system processes and actively contribute to their further development
You contribute to technical migrations and expansions
You ensure stable operation also during on-call duties
Qualifications:
Education in the field of computer science
5+ years of experience in system management
Very good Linux knowledge (RHEL), experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Expertise in virtualisation technologies
Fluent German, good English
